Rice’s Red Silk Wrapping Thread Size 00
The wooden spools contain 3/4 oz. of thread or approximately 1100 yards of size 00, silk red thread. This is the original Rice’s thread used on Wright and McGill Stream and Lake model. This red was used by many bamboo rod builders including Leonard, South Bend, Heddon, etc. Use this thread on newly crafted rods or when restoring old bamboo fly rods. Michael Sinclair’s reference number is #10.
