Rice’s Silk size 00 Wrapping Thread Black and White Jasper
The wooden spools contain 3/4 oz. of thread or approximately 1100 yards of size 00, silk black and white jasper thread. This is the original Rice’s thread used on Wright and McGill bamboo rods including The Goodwin Rod, The Granger Rod, Favorite, and De Luxe models. It was used on the Phillipson Paramount. Black and white jasper was used by many bamboo rod builders on various models including South Bend, Heddon, etc. Use this thread on newly crafted rods or when restoring old bamboo fly rods.
