Rice’s Black and Orange Jasper Silk Thread Size 00
The wooden spools contain 3/4 oz. of thread or approximately 1100 yards of size 00, silk black and orange jasper thread. This is the original Rice’s thread used on Wright and McGill Victory bamboo rods. Black and orange jasper was used by many bamboo rod builders including South Bend, Heddon, etc. Use this thread on newly crafted rods or when restoring old bamboo fly rods. Michael Sinclair’s reference number is B and O #XX.
