8', 2/2 Model 8014 Built in 1968 for, and inscribed to, Acheson Harden. There were 103 of the 8014 model rods built and 31 known to exist today. The rod weighs 4.6 oz. Line weight 6. Reverse half wells cork grip with down-locking hardware and walnut insert. Brown silk thread wraps. Blued nickel silver ferrules. Includes original cloth bag and aluminum tube with black plastic cap over brass collar. The condition is very good refinished. This rod was refinished using a non-original thread color, and the wraps do not have black tipping. There is a small hook ding on one of the tips. See image.
