9', 3/1 WaterSeal SA9 Salmon Rod. Three sections - Handle, Butt, Tip. Made for salmon and some types of ocean fishing. Wright and McGill's catalog describes this rod as a spinning rod, however, the rod is wrapped with casting guides. The guides are wrapped with maroon tipped with yellow silk. Made from the best quality densified Tonkin Cane. Chrome plated guides and tip top, 3/4 inch locking screw type chrome plated reel seat, twenty-four inch cork handle. This rod was manufactured from 1950 and 1954 for a retailer in the Pacific Northwest.  This rod only appeared in the 1953 catalog. Includes leatherette carrying case and partitioned cloth bag. This rod is in mint condition and appears to be un-fished. sold
